Shira is a first-year SLP graduate student at GWU! She studied Speech and Hearing Sciences at Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts. She also minored in Criminal Justice! Her family is originally from Russia and Israel and they came to the U.S. in 2008. She loves to travel, experience new cultures, and taste the food of the world! She also has research lab experience from her undergraduate studies at IU, working with Dr. Brielle Stark's NEURAL Aphasia lab as well as Dr. Rita Patel's Voice Physiology lab.
